L&J - An Intimate Summer Party Wedding in Dun Laoghaire

My second blog in 2020! What a year for everyone. There has been multiple postponements (Around 90% for myself) and things are changing all the time so I was so happy for L&J that they got to go ahead and have the relaxed wedding they had always planned on having anyway just with less people but that didn’t dampen their day.

The two had a beautiful humanist ceremony in the Maritime Museum in Dun Laoghaire before going for a stroll and heading to Haddingtons nearby. I was so delighted to be able to capture some memories for these two and wish them nothing but happiness for the years ahead!

L&P - A Winter Wedding in Dun Laoghaire!

It’s been a year already since we shot this wedding in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin! Winter weddings are always so lovely to capture with all the lights and winter colours. So here’s a look back on some highlights of one very special wedding!

G & D - A wonderful wedding in the Millhouse Slane

We’d been looking forward to this wedding for a while! When we first met G&D in 2017 and they chatted about their wedding plans, we knew it was going to be one to remember!

All of the day was held in the beautiful Millhouse in Slane. One of my top five favorite venues! The weather played ball which is always helpful ;)

Tom was hand second shooting and capturing the lads getting ready while I covered the ladies in the coach house before the afternoon ceremony with Vincent from the Spiritualist Ceremonies Ireland.

I adored their wedding style completely and as you can see from the photos below, there is plenty of it. Without further ado, check out our highlights!

A&D- A beautiful Marlfield House wedding

Tom and I get to work with the nicest people (yes we say that all the time but it’s true!) A&D were absolutely two of the nicest people you could meet and their families were so lovely and welcoming too!

It was a mixed day weather wise but we managed to get out for some portraits in between showers which was brilliant because the reception venue was the beautiful Marlfield House in Gorey. It’s always so good to get to shoot there!

M&S - A lovely Clayton Hotel wedding in Ballsbridge!

Myself and Tom really loved capturing this day! I really like the Clayton in Ballsbridge as a wedding venue too! I started with the girls in the hotel where the atmosphere was relaxed and fun and Tom hung out with lads in their home to capture some shots of them getting ready.

Our own videographer Cathal was on hand on the day to capture moments so it was great catching up with him! Check out all my highlights below and a big thanks to all the suppliers who made it a brilliant day for M&S!

L&E - A Beautiful Intimate wedding in Brooklodge, Co. Wicklow

I loved capturing this day for the girls last month! I was hired to shoot for a couple of hours to capture their gorgeous first look, ceremony and some portraits after. You’d be amazed at how much you can capture in two and a half hours! (For more info on this “civil special” - contact me!)

L&E chose the lovely Brooklodge, Macreddin Village in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow for their special day. We kicked off the coverage with a private first look in the woods before capturing family portraits ahead of the gorgeous outdoor ceremony.
